Jane Hovey is a Partner based out of Vivaldi’s London office, specializing in solving business problems through creativity. In bridging the gap between strategy and execution, she focuses on how brands reach people by embracing culture. She describes her role as ensuring we create “ideas that work”. Joining Gravity Thinking, now part of the Vivaldi family, as Head of Planning in 2015 she has led strategy on many of the agencies’ award-winning campaigns with particular focus on Hyundai and Hendricks gin.

Her role focuses on robust methodologies and frameworks which ensure we turn business strategy into creative reality with the customer at the center. Her belief that “context is the greatest marketing challenge of the 21st century” drives our people first channel planning methodology Connections Planning. This ensures turning insight into action brings creativity and through the funnel communications choices together – to work in perfect harmony.

Jane started her career as part of the brand team at Egg, the UK’s first internet bank, before working as a senior strategist at leading digital agencies – AKQA, Dare, and Digitas. A brand thinker for the digital age Jane has a unique mix of brand, integrated and digital marketing experience. Telecoms and tech have been a particular area of interest working on Samsung, Microsoft, BT, Vodafone, and Ericsson.

But she has also loved bringing FMCG brands to life in digital across Europe for P&G and Nestle rolling out Europe wide digital segmentation and strategic tool kits. Higher-level brand work has included work for Carluccio’s restaurants, Plum baby food and the vision which aligned Condor airlines and its sister Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK.

Between work and being a mum, of a very active little boy, Jane loves to dance, read and immerse herself in history.
